Acne Scar
Combination Treatment

Proven combination therapy, advanced by a new paradigm in laser.

Acne scars rarely come in one type. We combine subcision, TCA CROSS and HA filler with UltraClear®, the world’s first cold fiber laser, then add a skin booster to support recovery and healing.

Scar types

Most faces carry more than one type.

Icepick, boxcar and rolling scars usually sit side by side. Which ones you have decides what the plan needs.

Icepick

Narrow and deep. Too small for resurfacing to reach the base.

Boxcar

Sharp walls and a flat floor. The edge casts the shadow you see.

Rolling

Broad and tethered from below. The surface itself is intact.

The plan

One laser as the base. Other tools added where they’re needed.

Because the three types sit side by side, most plans layer two or three treatments in one course.

At the core

UltraClear® — the world’s first cold fiber laser

Three modes, chosen by scar depth and skin type.

Laser coring

Evaporates scarred tissue so that new tissue replaces it.

CLEAR mode

Surface resurfacing for texture and tone.

Ultra mode

Works below the surface to remodel collagen.

For rolling

Subcision

Releases the fibrous band pulling the scar down from underneath.

For icepick

TCA CROSS

A focused acid application placed into each narrow scar, where a laser cannot reach.

For rolling

HA filler

Restores volume in a depression once the tethering is released.

Added to boost recovery and healing

Topical skin booster

Applied after treatment, while the skin is most receptive. Which booster suits you is decided at your consultation — Rejuran® Healing Essence, or Triple C, containing exosome, calcium, PLLA and PDRN. Both support the skin’s recovery after treatment.

Questions

Before you book.

What combination will I need?

That is decided after your scars are examined. The consultation determines which treatment leads your plan and which ones support it — one patient's plan may center on the laser with subcision added, another's on TCA CROSS with the laser finishing. Because most faces carry several scar types at once, most plans call for more than one approach.

Can I be treated if I still get breakouts?

Yes. Ongoing acne does not rule out scar treatment. Where it helps, oral medication or a chemical peel runs alongside the scar work to keep breakouts under control. Treating scars earlier tends to give better results than waiting for the acne to fully settle.

How many sessions will I need?

Scar treatment usually needs several sessions to maximize improvement, spaced about 6 to 8 weeks apart. The number depends on your scar mix and depth, and you receive a specific plan at your consultation.

Is it safe for Asian and deeper skin tones?

UltraClear produces less pigment reaction than CO₂-based lasers, so it can generally be applied safely in deeper skin tones. However, every laser treatment carries some risk of post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Your skin type is assessed before any setting is chosen, and preparation before treatment and care afterward are built into the plan to keep that risk as low as possible.

Does it hurt?

Topical numbing is applied first. Most patients describe heat and prickling rather than sharp pain, settling within a few hours. Deeper settings are more uncomfortable.

How much downtime?

Acne scar treatment is usually performed at moderate or advanced depth, so for most patients recovery is 5 to 10 days. Less commonly — depending on the intensity of the treatment, or when TCA CROSS is part of the plan — redness or pigmentation can persist for several weeks or longer. The depth is chosen with your schedule in mind, and what to expect is explained before you book.
